When was Palais Oriental Established?

Did you know that Palais Oriental Aruba was established by the father-in-law of Bharti Daryanani in the South side of the island called the San Nicolaas Mainstreet. This store dressed many families, most people visited on the weekends, and you could see families from all districts going to shop, have breakfast, lunch or dinner. There used to be many traffic and for the ones who had cars passed to greet the San Nicolaas Community. Where we lived in a primitive, developing small island in the Dutch Caribbean, as a part of the Netherlands in those days. As Aruba prospered, Palais Oriental Aruba opened in Oranjestad when Mr. Daryanani met Mrs. Daryanani- Toleram and was the beginning of Bharti that everyone knows, supports, respects and loves.

During the years there were many loyal employees of the Aruban families that worked with Palais Oriental up to their pension age.
